The MHACCCA has facilitated a Workplace Rapid Testing location in cooperation with the Dept. of Health and Wellness. All members of the community who are asymptomatic and 16 or older are welcome to be tested in our location at the Old School (please use lower front entrance) on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30-10:30am.
Please note: testing station will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6th for Labour Day and Thursday, Sept. 30th to observe Truth and Reconciliation Day.
This report was undertaken by four Environment, Sustainability, and Society Program students at the College of Sustainability at Dalhousie University, with oversight by community member Catherine Berry and support from MHACCCA.
Final-Report-The MHACCCA understands that the increased provincial restrictions have a profound effect on our community’s individuals and small businesses. After more than a year of living and working during a pandemic, many of you may be struggling personally or professionally.
There are supports available, and we will get through this together. To make it just a little easier to find and access these supports, we have compiled a list of resources available to small businesses in our region. Please find this document attached. We have included federal and provincial government financial supports, as well as links to organizations that may be of assistance to small businesses who are struggling. Additionally, we have included mental health supports that anyone can access.
Please, stay vigilant and safe as we all try to turn the tide of this third wave together.
The following brochure was prepared by Eastern Shore Musquodoboit Mental Health Board. If you are struggling during these difficult time, please reach out.
